How it started

I saw a blog post once where someone had written "i like dogs." Something about it stuck with me. So for shits and giggles I made a hat that said it. One for me, one for my wife.

Now, we do not just like our golden retriever. We are completely, embarrassingly obsessed with him. So "i like dogs." was a bit of an understatement, and that was exactly why it was funny. Saying the small quiet version of a big feeling. That was the whole joke, and somehow it landed.

Then a friend saw the hats and wanted one. So I made a few more. Then a few more after that. At some point it stopped being a private joke between me and my wife and turned into something people actually wanted.

So I built it into a business.

What it is now

It is a hat for anything you feel that way about. Dogs first, because that is where it began. Then running, fishing, and whatever else people are quietly obsessed with. One honest sentence, understated on purpose, worn out loud.

The "like" is always doing more work than it lets on. That is the point.

How we make them

Soft washed cotton, low profile, brass slider, and one honest sentence embroidered on the front in Times New Roman. No logos, no filler. Made well and meant to be worn, not kept for best.
