Returns & exchanges
We want you to be genuinely happy with your cap. If something's not right, here's exactly how it works.
Change of mind
We'll gladly exchange or refund a full-priced item within 30 days of your order, as long as it comes back new, unworn, unwashed, and with its original tags and packaging. Sale items are final and can't be returned for change of mind.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your cap arrives faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we'll make it right — a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage. This is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which we don't try to limit.
Who pays for return shipping?
For change-of-mind returns and exchanges, return shipping is at your cost — please send it back with tracking so it doesn't go missing in transit; we can't refund an item we don't receive. If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing, we cover return postage.
How to start a return
- Email info@ilikecompany.com with your order number and what you'd like to do (exchange, refund, or report a fault).
- We'll reply with a return authorisation and the address to post to.
- Send it back to us — for change-of-mind returns, return postage is on you; for faulty items, it's on us.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and passes a quick check, we'll refund the original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few days more to show it. Original shipping ($5) isn't refunded on change-of-mind returns.
Exchanges
Want a different statement or colourway? Tell us in your email and we'll line it up. Because caps are embroidered to order, an exchange may take a few extra days to stitch and send — we'll keep you posted.
A note on made-to-order
Our caps are stitched after you order, so please double-check your choice at checkout. If you spot a mistake, email us within a few hours of ordering and we'll try to catch it before it goes to the machine.
